Department of Public Works Laborer
Now hiringThe Village is seeking a motivated laborer to support the Department of Public Works in maintaining parks, streets, sewer systems, storm drainage, and other public infrastructure.
Requirements
- CDL Class B license at the time of hire
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to lift at least 80 pounds
- Working knowledge of equipment and tools
Typical responsibilities
- Mow parks and playground areas
- Collect leaves and yard debris
- Repair and maintain village streets
- Support sewer and storm-drainage repairs
- Electrical, plumbing, and heavy-equipment skills are helpful
